Fly Tipping
Fly tipping is 'the illegal deposit of any waste onto land, i.e.
waste dumped or tipped on a site with no licence to accept waste'.
Fly tipped waste generally consists of large items of rubbish such
as general household waste, larger domestic items including fridges
and mattresses, garden refuse, commercial builders rubble, clinical
waste and tyres.
Anyone fly-tipping waste is committing an offence. It can be
hazardous to the public and animals, it can damage watercourses and
soil quality, it looks unsightly and can harm investment to an area
and it usually costs taxpayers money to clean it up.

Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour is one of Dover District
Council's corporate priorities. In order to obtain a true picture
of anti-social behaviour across the District it may be necessary to
share details of such behaviour with the Community Safety Unit.
Your personal details will not be passed on.
The council can only remove dumped rubbish from public
land. Rubbish on private land is the responsibility of the
landowner.
