Good communication is central to the Council’s ambition to help create and maintain a world-class future for our residents. The Council’s communication goal is to create a framework to support our management and planning, as well as to let our partners, business and the public know what they can expect from us, and to enable them to work with us.

Public Relations

Public Relations (PR) plays a central role in the way we communicate. PR covers a wide variety of services, providing a range of information to the public, media and partnership agencies. This includes producing the residents' newsletter, @ your service, which is delivered twice a year to all households across the district. PR also prepares and distributes Press Releases, giving regular updates to the media on latest news from across the Council.  We also provide a focal point for media enquiries coming into the Council. We continue to work hard to fulfil the Council’s communication aims as we move forward for an exciting future.
