Feel Alive - And Get Active

People of all ages are enjoying the chance to have fun and feel alive at free events this summer from Active Dover – including the fantastic Feel Alive and Get Active day held at Victoria Park and Tides Leisure Centre in Deal on Saturday, (6 June).

Around 1,500 people came along to enjoy a range of activities at Victoria Park, including an archery and mountain bike skills areas, the TechZone Gaming Truck, 5-a-side football tournaments, chances to have a go at tennis, cricket, hockey, golf, rugby and family fun games, beginner sessions in BMX, skateboarding, and inline skating, and a skate bowl competition led by Revolution.  A packed series of events in the Sports Hall included table tennis, cheerleading, Tai Chi, street dance, fitness, and dance performances by Kent Youth Service.  The event, which was previously known as Passport 2 Sport, was organized by Active Dover.
