How to get to Dover Museum
Dover Museum is situated in the Market Square in the centre of
Dover. The nearest parking available is in the St. James Street Car
Park (entrance off Woolcomber Street or Russell Street off the A20)
or parking off York Street (both pay and display). There is a coach
drop-off point outside the museum in King Street (from Castle
Street).
The bus station in Pencester Road is about a five minute walk
from the museum, along Pencester Road with the traffic flow, then
left along the pedestrianised Cannon Street into Market Square.
From the railway station, the museum is about a 7-minute walk.
Turn right from the station exit, then left onto Folkestone Road.
At the roundabout, turn right down York Street, towards the rear of
the Dover Discovery Centre (formerly the White Cliffs Experience).
Dover Museum is situated next door to the Dover Discovery Centre
with its entrance on the Market Square.
