| Warm Home Discount Scheme |
The Warm Home Discount Scheme provides £120
rebate on your electricity bills in winter 2011/12
You may qualify for this energy rebate if on
the qualifying date of 11 September 2011
all the following apply:
- If you only received the Guarantee Credit
element of Pension Credit (no Savings Credit)
- your name, or your partner’s name was
on your electricity bill
- your electricity account was with one of the
energy suppliers participating in this scheme

| Renewable Heat Premium Payment |
Grants of between £300 - £1250 (dependant on technology
installed and eligibility criteria) available from 1 August 2011 to
homeowners in England, Scotland and Wales. For

| UK Carbon Reporting Framework |
The Framework provides a database that will match carbon
reduction projects with organisations wishing to support such
projects in the U.K. Projects can be registered at

Is a £500,000 Energyshare fund set up
to help groups/ communities who want to save and generate their own
energy. Currently closed - further funding to be
anounced |
| Feed In Tariffs(Clean Energy Cashback
Scheme) |
This scheme was introduced on 1 April 2010. It encourages
small scale (less than 5MW) low carbon electricity generation from
renewable technologies (wind, solar photovoltaics (PV), hydro,
anaerobic digestion or domestic scale microCHP(capacity of 2kW or
less). Eligible producers receive a guaranteed rate for each
unit of electricity generated and exported. To find out more visit

Winter Fuel Payments
Government funded |
£125- £400 per eligible household.
If you have reached the qualifying age (born on or before 5
January 1951),
and lived in Great Britain or Northern Ireland on any day
betweeen 19–25 September 2011
you may qualify.

| Warm Front Grants |
Up to £3,500 (£6,000 for homes that need oil central
heating)
The Scheme targets homeowners, or tenants who rent from a
private landlord, and are on certain benefits and living in
properties that are poorly insulated and/ or do not have a working
central heating system.

| KASH (Kent Actiont to Save Heat)
Referral Scheme |
Offers free impartial advice on energy efficient measures and
renewable systems for the home, and highlights the best deals,
discounts and grants available for:
- loft insulation
- cavity wall insulation
- condensing boilers
- solar hot water panels
- solar electricity PV panels

| Cold Busters |
This scheme is currently suspended
You may be eligible for heating and insulation measures provided
by Coldbusters if you are receiving one or more means tested
benefit such as:
- Income Support
- Income-based Job Seeker's Allowance
- Council Tax Benefit
- Disabled Person's Tax Credit
- Guaranteed Pension Credit
The following measures are available:
- Cavity wall and loft insulation
- Draughtproofing
- Replacement boiler/heating system.
(These grants are not available to local authority
tenants)
